Mendenhall Glacier question

Will be sailing on the Pearl this weekend. I had a question on the Mendenhall Glacier . I am planning to take the MGT blue line bus ? How far do we have to walk from the dock to board the MGT blue line bus..Also I read on these boards that it is better to pay $7 each way instead of the $14 roundtrip so that you can choose a different bus from the glacier when it leaves , instead of waiting for the same bus which took you there..Any ideas with that one..Thanks

The bus pick up is right at the dock! ...and the glacier is awesome!

If the Pearl docks at the AJ dock like it did on our cruise, there are free shuttle buses that drop passengers off at the base of the tram by all the tour kiosks. The blue buses depart from there also. If you walk from the AJ dock, it's a bit of a distance. (I checked the schedule and you will be docked at the AJ dock).
