We'll be on the June 21st sailing to Alaska...For the most part, the guys and gals on the Pearl staff sound super...This will be our first experience with a butler/conceige... How many staterooms does a butler service? Is there more than one conceige per deck? Just wondering how this works...

Thanx in advance...........

can't speak specifically for your ship. But on the Sun there is one concierge and two butlers for twenty suites.

Prepare to be spoiled! It's true what they say: "once you go Suite you can't go back"!

Tips for Butler and/or Concierge are NOT included in the $12 pp per day service charge. We recommend guests consider offering a gratuity commensurate with services rendered.

I am wondering about the CV on the Pearl. That is the question of the day. I have heard a wide range. the most popular answer is $10/per day/per person for each. from what i hear there is one concierge and two butlers (one for room, one for courtyard). plus extra $ for the 2 room attendants assigned to each suite as they provide additional services. I expect they make an extra effort to service room promptly when guest exits, etc. this can add up quick. i want to be generous, but not too generous.
