phone card questions?

Hi. Could anyone tell me how much ( approx) an international phone card would cost for use from the UK to Canada? pj

Last month we bought one in a newstand on Piccadilly St. that gave us 432 minutes to the US for 5gbp. It said it was for N. America so I assume you'd get the same number of minutes to Canada. You must ask when you buy the card. We were in another newsstand earlier in the day, and when we asked how many minutes it had, the clerk told us he couldn't tell. He said we'd find out when we activated it! Needless to say, we shopped elsewhere. I can't remember the exact location as we walked many miles that day. I think it was near Fortnum & Mason on that side of the street. The one who wouldn't tell us how many minutes were on the card was on the other side of Piccadilly.
