peaches80 Posted June 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2009 This may be a dumb question but...if you take the bus from the Barcelona airport to the Catalunya square, where do you put your luggage? Do they put it under the bus in a storage area and then allow you to unload it when you get there or do you keep it with you on the bus? I'm not sure how this works and since it's much cheaper than a taxi, I thought we'd give it a shot. Thanks!

The luggage is stored underneath, you may know the times every 7 mins, outside terminal B Have you considered the train, if you are travelling light? sddsddean Posted June 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2009 The buses I saw had luggage areas within the bus, sort of like an airport car park transfer bus, but with better seats. Simon
Twirl Posted June 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2009 The one we used had luggage space on the bus itself as well as seats for passengers. It is very easy to use and takes you to the centre of Barcelona and as you said, much cheaper than a taxi
debbymark Posted June 1, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2009 I have taken the bus several times and the luggage was always stored inside the bus.

MAKEM Posted June 2, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Train? There is a train from the airport?:) Would you provide details? Thank you, The train leaves every 30 mins ,from outside terminal,B,up & across the walkway, clearly marked inside the arrivals hall. single ticket is 2.70euros. But if you buy a T10, 7.20 euros, it allows you 10 journeys ,realistically,10 persons could travel to Sans from the airport on 1 ticket This runs into Sans,if you want to go to Cataluna ,change train, same platform, usually few mins later. The is a very good web site of renfe train times barcelona
Susan-M Posted June 2, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 2, 2009 There are several stops along the aerobus route ... Placa Catalunya is the 4th stop after leaving the airport. To see the route, on this site, click on 'Barcelona Airport' at the top, and then 'more information' for A1: http://www.emt-amb.com/links/eng/ihome.htm Luggage on our bus was stored inside on luggage racks.
