I have AD suite 10666 booked for the 13night transatlantic voyage November 29 2009 from Barcelona to NYC. I never had a suite on NCL and was wondering about all the perks it includes and if anyone out here stayed in that suite and had pictures they would be willing to share.

If you wouldn't want to put info her I can be reached via e mail

Thanks so much.

I was in Gem's AD 10666 in May and it's awesome. I'm sorry I don't have pictures (they're still in my camera) but I'll do my best to describe everything. It begins at embarkation -- you'll go to the line for the suites and there you'll meet your Concierge. After some introductory info on what he's there for, he'll introduce you to your butler who starts spoiling you immediately by taking all of your carryon items and escorting you to your suite which will be ready. Your suite will have a doorbell (freaked me out the first time that thing rang). You'll have a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for you along with a fruit bowl that miraculously gets filled when you're not around. The suite has a large wall-mounted tv and a DVD player - there's a list of DVDs you can use for free (3 at a time). The room service menu includes anything from any open restaurant (imagine a delicious prime rib dinner delivered and eaten out on the balcony, or buffalo wings from the 24 hour diner when you want a snack but don't feel like leaving the cabin). The sofa and chair are very comfortable, and you're going to sink into that bed. There's a dressing area with a vanity table, wall mirror, makeup mirror, kleenex holder, and cordless phone. Hint: When the curtains are drawn around the bed, the dressing area is exposed and the light at the vanity table will drive you crazy -- you have to unplug it to turn it off. The closet can be accessed from both the entrance hall and the dressing area. There's a real bathroom, and though it's not huge, there's enough room to be comfortable. The tub is kind of high if you're short, but it's not uncomfortable to get in and out of. The toilet is enclosed on the other side of the room (the sink is between the shower/tub and the toilet). What have I left out? Oh, the cappucino machine (I don't drink coffee and didn't use it), but all the fixings are there and will get replenished. There's a cabinet with glassware, cups/saucers and bar supplies. You get a complimentary large bottle of Evian water, but if you use the one by the cappucino machine you'll have to pay for it. You'll get canapes every night. I received a vip invite to a captain's party and another one for a Courtyard cocktail party. You can have breakfast and lunch in Cagney's. I didn't get to have lunch there because I was always out on tours. The next cruise has several sea days, so I plan to do lunch at Cagney's this time. The balcony is huge with 2 chairs, a table and 2 loungers. When you're at the railing, people can look down on you - but only if you're at the railing. Be prepared that one or two mornings the balcony might be wet, though. Probably from their cleaning a couple decks above. If you have the same staff (Concierge-Alex, Butler-Mark, and Steward-Barrigan -- I hope I got their names right), you'll be spoiled rotten and love every minute of it. Hope I covered everything.

Oops, the Steward's name is Barrington. This photo is from NCL's site, but is a pretty good representation of the suite. It's missing the dressing area, TV, minibar/cabinet/cappucino machine, entrance area. I hope the photo shows up.
