Just home from Radiance

Had a fabulous time - I have never written a review before, but plan to after things settle down a little. It will be interesting to see if anyone else writes a review. I'd love to compare.

 

BTW - a HUGE thank you to everyone here. We were able to upgrade at the pier to an OS - It was INCREDIBLE. I do have some thoughts to share on how that went with the pier coordinator, though. The RS was available, but we didn't feel like it was worth the extra $600.00. DH did try to get it at bingo, but it was not to be....he did win $120.00 for his time though.

 

Much more later - I'll try to answer questions in the mean time.

Betsie, my daughter just returned home last night from the same cruise and she had a wonderful time. She went with 4 other girls and I am sure they were the cause of a lot of noise in the dining room.....

We are going on the Radiance in January and I'm curious what category you upgraded from. Did you go to Coco Cay? I forget whether that island was damaged from the hurricanes. I'm excited about our trip and can't wait to read your review of yours.

Can't answer any questions on the Casino as I'm not a gambler and only walked through to get the the Aurora Theatre:):)

 

We upgraded from an E cat balcony to an OS (1566) - what a difference.

 

We did go to CoCo Cay - I was there in March 2004 and did not notice any significant differences in the areas we were. There may have been some in the "activities" area - but we did not venture over there. Just lounged around, dh and ds did some snorkeling and had lunch. DD and I just sat around and read.

 

Maybe I'll get a review done by the end of the week. Things are crazy here - ds had a Christmas concert at school today, basketball game tonight, dd had a Christmas party tonight - all that nasty back to work stuff. Dh has a potluck and had to have something cooked and the post office forgot to deliver our mail. I want to be back on the Radiance where they take care of everything!!!!!!! My house is a disaster........where is that lovely cabin attendant when you really need them??

Could I ask what you paid for the upgrade to the OS? We are in a D1 so I'm curious if it would be worth the extra $$$. Thanks! :)
