WIGANATH Posted June 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2009 Are decks 1/2 OK or would you advise we paid extra to go up to 3/4? We usually have twin beds and didn't realise you could book a room with a double bed - what are these rooms like - do they seem smaller?
steelerannie Posted June 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2009 Me again!!! We have only ever had a cabin on deck 1 or 2. If you look at the layout it does show you which cabins have a double bed. We always pre-book a cabin and request a double bed. Can't remember the cabin number from last year but the cabin we had was massive. It was on a corner close to the lift but we never had any noise from it. Ann

sobral Posted June 6, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2009 We had a double bed last year on Spirit and the room was a really good size. There is no difference in lower decks/upper decks. Some advise getting a cabin midship for less movement being felt but I have never experienced a difference- Enjoy your cruise
