Mobile Connection @ Sea & CD Player Questions!

:confused:Is one able to receive and make mobile calls at sea?

 

Wondering as well if we could bring our cds and play them on the DVD player on Insignia. We are travelling Concierge Class.:confused:

Most will be able to -- there are some carriers (notably Nextel, which uses the Iden protocol) which may not be able to use the SeaLand facility. I know that Sprint works, and I think Verizon does, I remember some discussion about AT&T but forget how it came out.

 

Regarding CD's, Oceania also has a very extensive library available at the reception desk, I think it was over 600 titles.

If you were asking about playing music CDs on your suite's DVD player through the TV, there is no problem.

 

However, if you have any music recorded in a format such as MP3, it will not be recognized.
