For anyone who missed it the first time, the Travel Channel will repeat Samantha Brown's First Cruise tonight, December 14th, at 10PM. Great program! She cruised the Mediterranean on Brilliance of the Seas (Venice/Croatia route). There's quite a bit of info on the various ports, and some on the ship.

I agree. Since this was indeed her first cruise I would of liked to have seen more of her experience on board the ship.

I saw about the first 15 minutes of it the first time. I was a liitle dissapointed that she didn't seem to be really all that much into the "cruise" end of it. It seemed like she was more interested in going off and doing her own thing at each stop. That's fine of course, it just wasn't seeming to me that she was all that into the "cruise experience". She almost came across to me that the cruise part wasn't good enough and she had to adlib her own agenda to make it up to par. We'll see. I'll watch the whole thing tonight to see if it gets any better. Thanks for the Heads Up!!:)

Having been on that specific itenerary a couple months ago, I'd say the show's focus is pretty accurate. It was the most port-intensive cruise I've taken and the ship was pretty much like a floating hotel for the full 12 days. Much less of a "cruise" than my previous cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico.
