bahama_mama Posted June 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2009 I have heard that during embarkation those with handicaps can board first. Both of my parents are cruising with me and they both require assistance with their baggage and are very slow walkers. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks
firefly333 Posted June 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I know they will give you wheel chair assistance, but you will have to get porter help if they need their bags carried on too, you might check with special needs? I pack light and manage mine and my sisters, or let her help with one small carry on on wheels sometimes here and there, but we have the same situation, except we manage without help with luggage. Maybe ask on the section for HC help too, they are sure to know. Yes, the do let HC board with the platinum, but there arent people there to help carry luggage standing there to help that Iv seen. I filled out this form from Carnival and faxed it back to them: http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/pdf/SRIFRM_012809.pdf
