Smoker friendly hotel in Vancouver

Recommended Posts

Will be staying for 2 nights, saturday and sunday, the first week of september. Any safe area is fine, have been to Vancouver many times and not planning on much sightseeing. It seems that the airport area is more economical but is it a safe area? Most downtown hotels do not allow smoking. Thanks for any help you might supply.

Richmond which is where the airport is located is very safe. However for the same money you can probably get a room in a very good hotel in the downtown area by using Priceline.com. Many posters including myself have got rooms in 3.5* to 5* hotels for $75 to $100 by biding on Pricleine. Can't guarantee you a smoking room but you can do that outside. If you do decide you want to use Priceline, go to the biding screen, choose Downtown-Vancouver and 3.5*+, then begin biding at about $70....I think you may be pleasantly surprised with what you get.
