Where to buy wine?

I am posting this for various locations/ports of call so apologies if you have seen it before.

 

We will be doing a 20 day cruise next April/May on HAL’s Noordam. We are then following this with a transatlantic crossing back to Europe.

 

We live in Spain and are used to buying wine at very reasonable prices. We accept that we will pay the cruise line’s prices at dinner but we are looking for something more reasonably priced to drink in our cabin or on our balcony. We will be on board for 33 days so it would get quite expensive at ship’s prices.

 

Can anyone give me any information where in Samana we can buy a couple of bottles of wine. Could you also give me some idea what is an average price for a reasonable bottle of white wine – something like a Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio.
