we took a cruise on the ryndam in april and stopped at La Paz (Pichilingue) and had a nice time . We took a complimentary bus to Playa Tecolote beach for the day.

From Tecolote you can make arrangements for a boat trip to Isla Espirito to swim with the sea lions and snorkel .. Playa Balandra is a nice spot as well although it has no facilities. There are several good restraunts in the downtown waterfront area in la Paz itself. A good website is...http://www.baja-web.com/la-paz/la-paz.htm#Beaches.

Have fun...Spanky

Thank you! I had not found such a complete website - altho I have googled and surfed thru many not so great!

Interested in doing some swimming with the seals... is it something we can do on our own? (We may just sleep in a bit as we are doing the Copper Canyon tour the previous day )
