FSUSammy Posted December 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2004 I haven't looked at layouts for any of Princess' newer ships since we cruised on the Sun in Alaska in Aug of '03 but I took a look at the Island Princess because we are considering going on her for our 1st year anniversary next September in Hawaii and I noticed Oceanview mini-suites. I take it this is a normal mini-suite without the balcony? Just so strange. Anyone been in one and have anything good to say about it? Thanks! Sam I had wondered about that too when I saw it listed in my new brochure. I found out it *is* a regular mini without the balcony. I guess that could come in handy for 3 people who want the room but don't want the cost of a balcony minisuite. I haven't been in one, I can only imagine..... WeBeGone Posted December 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2004 The oceanview mini-suites without a balcony are quite nice. You have the extra room without the extra money for the balcony.
soprano Posted December 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 16, 2004 These mini's are great for families with young children, because there is no balcony to worry about, and you get all the extra room...they are as big as the regular mini's PLUS the balcony, but it's all inside.
