Snorkel Vest Required?

Recommended Posts

  • 4 weeks later...

We have been to both private islands. RCCL did require us to wear one on CoCo but I don't recall them saying anything in Labadee. We bring our own snorkel gear. For our next cruise we have found vests online that we will be purchasing. My dh is convinced that this is the way to go just in case we get tired and just want to stop and rest. He says I nearly drowned him when I stopped and held on his shoulder to fix my mask.

Hope that answers your question.

I found one on ebay a couple weeks ago for a good price. I just looked again though and now they are all retail priced. I still need one more so the hunt is on again. If I cannot find another before we leave I guess I will let the DH use the inflata-belt and I will rent one.

Do they make you use them at Coki or Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas?
