Tours for motion-sickness prone

In Aruba we're considering the Atlantis Sub Tour or a Catamaran/Snorkel tour to the west side.

Are either of these worse for motion sickness than the cruise ship? Any other info you can provide about these tours would be a bonus.

Imo, the sub tour and being in an enclosed space would probably not be the best. :(

We have a friend who is prone to motion sickeness and was able to ride in an SUV and tour for just a few hours last year.

This year she took a sailing snorkel cruise on Tranquilo which lasted 6 1/2 hours and she was just fine. :)
