MoonPet Posted July 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Hello all! Was flipping through my "Cruise Answer Book" and was surprised to see that the Star Princess is listed as having the Crown Grill, International Cafe, and Vines. I thought the Golden Princess received these amenities after her recent drydock, but the Star has not yet been renovated. Would anyone who was on the Star recently care to update me? Thanks! lel5344 Posted July 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Star Princess came out of drydock last October. We were on the first cruise (10 day Mexican Riviera) post drydock. We really enjoyed the International Cafe (bought the coffee card so we could have brewed coffee whenever we chose). In addition, the hot chocolate was delightful. We probably could have had all our meals at the International Cafe...lol. Pastries were fresh and delicious, sandwiches were wonderful. We did not partake of the Crown Grill or Vines, although both were open. Also, MUTS was not quite ready until a day before we disembarked, so no judgment about MUTS. MoonPet Posted July 1, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted July 1, 2009 I'm so excited about this news! For some reason I completely missed the fact that the Star was revamped. I love the IC and the new atrium design! Thanks for confirming this!
