lovinsea Posted July 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Hi, Hubby and I will be traveling from LAX to San Pedo and are considering booking Super Shuttle, my question is does the driver handle your luggage putting it into the van, or must you do this yourself? The reason I ask is that we used a shuttle service several years ago, don't remember the name and had to load the luggage onto the van which had a couple of steps. this was very difficult for my husband since he has problems lifting heavy objects. Thanks for any info you can provide.
jasmith52 Posted July 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2009 I suspect that it won't be a problem. You must have run into one of those union outfits where luggage wasn't in his job description. All of the shuttle services that I know help with the luggage. Having said that, one time a (taxi) driver was a woman and she asked if I could lift my own (giant cruise-filled) bag. I had no problem with that. If you are really concerned then I would call your shuttle provider (perhaps - Supershuttle or Prime Time Shuttle) and ask. It goes without saying that for those that give you some service a tip would be appropriate.

Putterdude Posted July 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2009 You need to get your luggage from the baggage carousel to the curb but the driver lifts it into the van and takes it out at your destination.
