As far as men's clothes for formal night, my husband took nice slacks, a sport coat and nice mock turtleneck tops and mixed and matched. We don't take tuxes or suits-sometimes a shirt and tie but not on this cruise.

 

Thanks. Do the formal nights apply no matter which dining room you use? We have "anytime dining", so we'll be in the main dining room most of the time. We might go to one of the specialty restaurants, too.

 

I assume that if you didn't want to do the formal thing, you could go to the grill, pizza place, etc.

The buffet is always open and always casual. Hamburger grill and pizza place close in the late afternoon. Room service is also always available.

Was the white horse pass train ride a lot different from the train ride from Whittier to Talkeetna?
