Using Malev Air to Budapest via Frankfurt

I read the cautionary tale regarding transferring in Frankfurt to Switzerland but has anyone had recent experience transferring in Frankfurt to Budapest on Malev Air. I think we'll have enough time since we don't have to claim baggage but passport control and bussing to the plane might be another matter.

Any information would be appreciated.(I did a search but nothing recent on Malev).
