Family travel on Radiance...cabins?

I have a dilemma...we're a family of 6 (wide range of ages -- 6 to 70) traveling to Alaska on Radiance of the Seas next summer...

Any thoughts..Royal Family Suite (VERY expensive) or 3 standard cabins? How much bigger are the superior vs. deluxe oceanview rooms? Thanks!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...can't really see us using the suite perks anyway and they'd have to be pretty terrific for $3500 more!! thanks!

I think the 3 separate rooms...extra bathrooms and showers!

Separate cabins! You do want some privacy, don't you? A suite is great, in theory, but either side by side or connecting rooms will give everyone their own space and a place to get away from each other!

Superior Staterooms (Cat D1) are 204 s.f., with an additional 41 s.f. balcony. The D1s on the back of the ship (1102, 1104, 1604 on Deck 10) and a few others located aft on Decks 7, 8, & 9 have larger balconies. These are very popular- book early!

 

Deluxe Staterooms (Cat E1, E2, and E3) are 179 s.f., with an additional 41 s.f. balcony.

 

As others stated, you'll appreciate the extra space and bathrooms with three staterooms.

 

You'll love the 'Radiance' and Alaska! ;)

thanks for the advice, I am definitely having my travel agent get me 3 rooms...just trying to figure out which 3 right now! :)

Extra toilets and showers by booking individual cabins would solve it for us! Four in the family suite sounds great but six might be a bit crowded.
