HAL Noordam 4185

Haven't been on this ship, but have been on Westerdam in 5190. Does anyone know if 4185 balcony (wrap around) has a wench mounted off the side? I read Dan's review... is this ship worth the trip?

Yes, it has a window washing platform along the side. I am not sure if it would interfere with the balcony - or if so, by how much.

 

I have a photo of the stern of the Noordam which shows its location. But I haven't figured out how to include it with this message. :confused:

I've been investigating this, as I have booked 5190 on the Noordam for a cruise in 2010.

My fiddling with the image worked and it's there! :):) Click on it to enlarge. The stateroom you are asking about is clearly visible in the stern on starboard corner. You can see the window-cleaning outfit on the side portion of the balcony.

Thanks Bloofer, I was afraid I was right. I'm tempted to splurge and get the SB aft corner a few decks up. You'll love 5190!
