Is There a Cheaper Place to Park than Long Beach pier?

We are driving two vehicles from New Mexico to the Long Beach pier (which is located in San Pedro...go figure) to get on a four-day cruise. Is there a cheaper alternative that locals know about, where we can park our vehicles for less than $12 a day?

 

Under my breath:Why da heck did I go to college for? I coulda jus opened up my very own parking lot and made more dang money. Jeez.
