happybooker1 Posted July 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Some things we just had on our Carnival cruise: Chocolate Cake from Room service -- I think we ordered in excess of 20 slices for just DS & me in a week. He wanted to order 5 slices the last night & wrap them up to bring home!!!! (I nixed that plan but would've if we'd brought Tupperware!) From the dining room: Barbecued baby back ribs!! To die for! Bitter 'n Blanc dessert -- Scrumptious!! Eat TWO!! Also the Tiramisu. French Onion Soup -- terrific! Best I've had since New Orleans! and of course, Chocolate Melting Cake (although they serve something quite similiar at Chili's and Applebee's) From Sur Mer: Fried Oysters (but you only get 5 so better order 2) and ceviche! From the buffet line: Lamb in chocolate sauce! Wonderful!! the sauce was kinda like mole served in Mexico.
