Some things we just had on our Carnival cruise:

 

Chocolate Cake from Room service -- I think we ordered in excess of 20 slices for just DS & me in a week. He wanted to order 5 slices the last night & wrap them up to bring home!!!! (I nixed that plan but would've if we'd brought Tupperware!)

 

From the dining room:

 

Barbecued baby back ribs!! To die for!

 

Bitter 'n Blanc dessert -- Scrumptious!! Eat TWO!! Also the Tiramisu.

 

French Onion Soup -- terrific! Best I've had since New Orleans!

 

and of course, Chocolate Melting Cake (although they serve something quite similiar at Chili's and Applebee's)

 

From Sur Mer: Fried Oysters (but you only get 5 so better order 2) and ceviche!

 

From the buffet line: Lamb in chocolate sauce! Wonderful!! the sauce was kinda like mole served in Mexico.

what is sur mer? will they have fried oysters on the Triumph?

Just LOVE the onion soup and cant wait for my choc. melting cake. Have not had either for a year and a half. Talk about withdrawals!:rolleyes:

That is a restaurant on the Conquest. Not sure if they one on any of the other ships?
