spannah Posted July 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2009 this may sound really silly but do msc supply towels in the rooms on their cruises. we will take a couple ourselves for the pool but just wondered how many we may need to take. also how strict are the formal nights? we have 2 kids with us 11 and 3, we will be eating on the early sitting. do we need to dress up at any stage or is smart casual acceptable? cheers hannah
Lilla MY Posted July 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2009 Hello!! You don´t have to bring your own towels, they are provided for you bouth inthe cabin and at the pool,at least on Fantasia. We didnt dress up too fancy, and we felt ok with that.

camofwilliamsburg Posted July 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2009 When we took our kids also my daughter would wear a nice dress and son would wear blue or black pants with a dress button down white or blue shirt and tie. No jacket. He was fine.
AmoMondo Posted July 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 11, 2009 thanks for that if they do on fantasia i am sure they will on splendida. we are off in a couple of weeks. how was fantasia? Yes that's right it is the same anon all their ships. They also provide towels fro the beach too. The only variation between ships is the colour of the pool and beach towels. You present your cruise card and they take a note of how many you take and then mark them back off when you return them. Your room ones will be changed twice per dy and your cabin steward will give you more if you don't have enough.
oceangreen Posted July 14, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 14, 2009 Last year we were on MSC Rhapsody and they even provided beach towels for beach trip on Sardinia. We got towels by the door when leaving and returned them after arrival on the same place. Very comfortable.
camofwilliamsburg Posted July 23, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 23, 2009 They provide towels when you leave the ship, so do not forget to get one. And for the pool they are near the pool deck with the towels that you sign out for by cabin number. Very easy to exchange towels for dry ones.
