Question for Recent NCL Star to Alaska cruisers

We were on the June 27-July 4 Star cruise, and we did go on the east side on Vancouver island heading out of Seattle. It was great to wake up the next morning and be very near land and see all the small fishing villages. On the way back to Seattle we were on the west side of Vancouver Island, but it was sunny and warm , the seas were calm, but you were always quite far from the shore.

We just got off the July 4 - July 11 Star cruise yesterday, and we did go on the east side on Vancouver island heading out of Seattle. It was very smooth water the entire cruise and the weather was the greatest ever it hit 90 in Juneau and the other ports were just as nice 75 -80 there about. We got sun burned and the pool deck was so hot you needed shoes to walk around it. I never heard anything about changing from the east side on Vancouver island heading out of Seattle but things do change, call NCL and ask them.
