Oceanfront Hotel in Daytona?

My wife and I will be cruising on the Sensation out of Port Canaveral next month. We want to come down a couple days early and stay in Daytona Beach for a couple of nights. Has anyone stayed at any oceanfront hotels in Daytona Beach that they could recommend?

BTW- We are on a budget, so I dont need to hear about the 5 star hotels:)

The Hilton Oceanfront is very nice. Two of my cousins got married there. I'm not sure what the prices are like, though.

Try the Oceanwalk Resort. The best!

Haven't been there yet, but will be there next week. We booked The Shores Resort & Spa for two nights. It was a four star. Got a good price.

We also looked at Plaza Resort and Spa, Hilton, and Wyndam Ocean Walk.

Priceline is showing The Shores and Plaza Resort as 4*. You might be able to bid and get a really good deal.

Check the Hilton's location. We really liked the room, and the location was great!

Thanks for everyones replies. We have decided to book a private owned condo at the Harbor Beach Resort for $50/night. Found it on vrbo.com
