Muster Drills

Our we still wearing the life jackets in the Muster Drill? I heard they were gonna stop this summer. We're on the Brillance in August does anyone know?

Man that would be nice. I hate those things and usually hide in my cabin bathroom to avoid the drill.

The life jackets aren't the bad...(ok i will admit they stink)...But it helps it you don't go right after you hear them announce it, wait about 5-8 minutes and you won't get stuck in the back where you are suffocating.

Glad they did away with having to "wear" the lifejacket at the drill. I am on the Freedom in a few weeks, and I cannot imagine an outside muster drill in Florida's August heat :eek::eek:

We were on the Brilliance June 15-27th.

 

Yes, we were required to wear the (smelly) life jackets.

 

Darn it.

Just off Brilliance and we had to wear them, I did give them a little wipe before putting them on. Its only for a short time dont let it worry you.:)

That's great news as we sail next week, seems like the trial was on the Majesty and now liberty doesn't use them at drill, they are both Miami based ships, so it may have something to do with the coastguard at the port

We were on the Navigator in Europe in June and we all had to wear them.

Very uncomfortable, stood around for ages, so much so neck started hurting. I know it's neccessary but not fun! :(

although the drill is annoying, on last cruise we made it onto the cruise video in our lifevests -- so keep ur eye out for the cruise's video camera and smile and wave (no pun intended)! :D
