Princess Egypt 4WD adventure tour questions

I am also posting this questionon the Egypt board, but wanted to see if frequent Princess cruisers might have experience with this tour:

For a variety of reasons, we are considering taking a princess single day tour in Egypt rather than a private overnight excursion as we had originally planned. We wanted to maximize the amount of pyramid viewing, and also wanted to see some of the less visited pyramids (Bent, Red). Has anyone had experience with the following princess tour?

Another (probably dumb, I know) question: will we be able to see the Sphynx as well when we visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops at Giza?

Thanks in advance!

The Ancient Pyramids Of Egypt - A 4wd Adventure Tour

Tour the pyramids by 4WD safari. Visit Egypt's oldest pyramid at Sakkara, built in 2800 B.C. Travel to the lesser-known Red Pyramid of Dahshur, built of red sandstone.

WHAT YOU VISIT

Step Pyramid of Sakkara - Built in the 28th-century B.C. by the architect Imhotep for his Pharaoh Zoser, the oldest of Egypt's 110 pyramids - and the first to use limestone construction - consists of six layers or steps in pyramid form. The nearby temple complex, part of the vast necropolis, is entered through a hypostyle, a colonnade featuring 40 pillars.

The Red Pyramid - Hailed as Egypt's "other great pyramid," this massive pyramid in the desert near Dahshur is constructed of red-hued sandstone.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

The Bent Pyramid - Dahshur is the site of this unique pyramid built by the Pharaoh Snefru.

The Great Pyramid of Cheops - Completed circa 2500 B.C., the pyramid was built of 2,300,000 limestone blocks weighing 2 1/2 tons each; its base covers 13 acres.

LUNCH

Enjoy a box lunch in during the 4WD portion of your excursion.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY

Board air-conditioned motorcoaches in Port Said and travel in convoy along the desert road to Sakkara. Travel through a landscape of sand and scrub, broken by irrigated fields of produce, small towns and villages, plus new industrial estates with their supporting residential regions. After viewing the Step Pyramid, transfer to 4WD vehicles and travel out into the desert on paved and desert roads to Dahshur to view the Bent and Red Pyramids. Return by 4WD vehicle to Giza and the Great Pyramid of Cheops and rejoin the motorcoach.
