sas80 Posted July 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Can anyone point me at a website or store where they sell the fold up beach towels? The kind that fold up to be compact and then fold out to be a good size. (I have one...somewhere...3 moves and 3 states later I cannot find it.) I would prefer not to get a fold up bamboo-ish beach mat. I figure we may need something to actually dry off with. The towles that the ship provides are much too bulky to be carrying to a beach. (especially when you have 2 kids in diapers, formula, juice boxes and packaged snacks to carry) What do you all take with you to the beach to lay on? The ships towels? cb at sea Posted July 17, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Once you get your own towels wet and sandy, how will you get them clean? We just take the ship's towels....let each kid carry their own towel if they're able---they don't have to be in a bag! The pool towels aren't as thick as the bath towels...and you are MORE than welcome to take them ashore..just bring them back with you. Then, you can get clean ones to replace the wet/dirty ones! I would NEVER bring towels or blanket....takes waaaay too much space and weight!
