NCL Gem vs. CCL Pride

I am posting this on both the CCL and NCL boards, regarding a Dec. 26/27 sailing. Both go to the same ports, however, the CCL's Pride is about 600 dollars cheaper for a balcony pp. and 200 for an inside stateroom. We would be getting a balcony and two inside staterooms. Any advice?

You didn't say if the cruise length was the same or if transportation to the pier was an issue. Assuming there's no difference on those two aspects, I can tell you that I just got off the GEM and it was a great ship. I'd go back in an instant.

Never been on the Pride, but for $3000 less, I'd take the Pride. I can't image the GEM being $3000 better. The Balcony rooms are larger on Carnival ships than NCL ships too.
