Disembarking in Brisbane

Hi all,

 

I'm planning on the 2 nighter on Sun Princess in April 2010 and just wondering is there anywhere where we can leave luggage for the day near the port/in Brisbane while we look around?

 

Not sure yet whether we'll stay overnight before flying back to Sydney or return the night of disembarkation.

 

Also what is the shopping like in Brisbane?

There is a wonderful pedestrian mall in the CBD, but I doubt if you will find much that isn't available in Sydney. Melbourne is a bit different. It seemed to have a lot of shops that were particular to the area, but Brizzie (sp?) is a bit generic in the shopping department. So unless David Jones and Myer are your ideas of good shopping, I am afraid you will be disappointed.
