pier 66 question

Yes both are within walking distance but it is fairly steep climb to both attractions - the Market is only a few blocks from Pier 66 and there is an elevator that will take you up if you don't want to climb the stairs.

It is quite a bit further to the Space Needle but doable - some of the Seattle crowd can give you more precise distances etc.

The attached image will show the Space Needle from onboard the Pearl last Sept.

Cheers

We are docking at pier 66 in Seattle. Does any one know if either Pike's Place or the Space Needle is within walking distance?

Isn't there a free bus outside? We were there in May and I thought the free bus was right outside. It does a loop of downtown.

Was I dreaming?

No, you are not dreaming.

Free bus ride within downtown Seattle between 6 AM to 7 PM.

And this map will show what area is within the zone.

Space Needle is not within the zone. So you either need to pay for the bus fare to get there or walk over few blocks to ride the monorail.
