Pool Access -- Majesty of the Sea

Hey there,

 

I've not posted since our previous cruise on Celebrity, which was wonderful. Everyone in our party of eight had an incredible time. The only problem we ran into was access to the pool. My mother-in-law has some moderate mobility issues and the pool ladders were very difficult for her to ascend when getting out of the pool....it didn't help that the seas were very rocky, making the pool similarly rocky, but the ladders were really tough for her.

 

We are considering a March 2010 cruise and are looking to sail on Majesty of the Sea. My mother-in-law was wondering if the pools are accessed via a ladder, or by chance are there stairs?

 

I appreciate any input you may have...as well as any information regarding the ship in general..Thanks in advance!!

Majesty has ladders...if you look to the left of the guy dancing you will see one of them in this pic...

the radiance and explorer class ships have steps into the solarium pools but dont remember vision class and never sailed on freedom class...but I would think Freedom class is similar to explorer
