Can you bring cases of Soda on board?

Hey, I have heard you can bring soda onboard and I have heard you can't? Can anyone clairify this.

This is our first RCCL Cruise, and my hubbys first cruise. I got to cruise with sister in Hawaii on NCL.

carnival and princess both allowed me to bring soda on board. i think i brought 1 12 pack , and a case of water, and checked it in with my luggage and no problem. cant answer for Royal Caribbean

Yes, you can bring cases of pop on board. Just stick a luggage tag on it, and it will be delivered to your room with your luggage. The official rules state you can bring on board a "reasonable" amount of bottled water and pop. I have never seen them limit anyone.
