SNJCruzers Posted July 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2009 Will be in Belize on 9/3...should there be enough water flowing for a good cave tubing experience, or will it be low tide and a waste of time? Thanks

Rare crewsweeper Posted August 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Generally speaking July through September are the peak months of the rainy season in Belize. If any tropical disturbance is in or recently has been in the area, you run the risk of the water being too high. At the present, some weather sites are predicting that rainfall for Belize in general is going to be about normal for the 2009 rainy season. So you should have water for cave tubing in September. The dry season, on the other hand runs from November to May with April being the driest month. If there has been little rain in February and march, then in April and May you could find very low water. Also January and February are the colder months and if the water is low and not flowing swiftly, it could be a little chilly. Best bet for most current state is to email Major Tom and ask. divinitylives Posted August 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 15, 2009 We were on the Legend on 8/7 and there was enough water. I was concerned there'd be too much!
J&DrCruisin Posted August 17, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 17, 2009 :) I just booked us the ATV and cave tubing with Cave tubbing dot com. We are going to be there in December with the Valor. Does anyone possibly know if the water level will be flowing good around that time?? Thanks Julie
