AP Tour to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento

We are booked on the Equinox for August 18th. Our first stop will be in Naples. We have booked with AP Tours for a trip to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. We have another guide for inside Pompeii (apparently outside tour guides cannot take you through Pompeii). We are also scheduled to visit Herculaneum if time permits. Also we have built in time for Sorrento and lunch. We have agreed to be dropped at the hydrofoil port in Sorrento if the sea is calm for trip back to the dock where the Equinox is docked in Naples. If the sea is too rough, the AP driver/guide will take us back from Sorrento to Naples by car. Would like any tips if anyone has done this tour before and also if anyone is interested in joining our van. We do have room.
