Evening in PV

We are doing an excursion the main part of the day in PV, but were thinking about going back to the ship and freshening up, then coming back out and maybe walking around, on a beach maybe, seeing if we can watch the sunset or something.

 

Is there a place within walking distance of the port that you can just 'wander' and do this? Or a resort that will let you on the beach for a 1/2 day pass or something? We don't really want to stray too far. Just curious...

A couple blocks away, there is some small beaches. That area is not great for that. There is Los Palmas and a couple other resorts but I'm not sure if they offer passes. Right outside the port though, is a market place to wander in and there is a bar with tables outside to hang out at. You can see the fireworks from the pirate ship from there.
