bouhunter Posted July 31, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2009 If you go to the boards here for each port you'll get a lot more response, and learn a lot by reading the threads at each one.
wanderlust79 Posted July 31, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2009 We have yet to do a ship excursion for any of these ports. Here is what we have enjoyed on our own: Barbados: you can go to the Boatyard and/or one of the rum factory tours (Mt. Gay or Malibu). There are plenty of cabs so it's easy to get around. St. Lucia: COSOL tours! This is about $65 pp for a full day of sightseeing, food, and all you can drink. Your group will be picked up at the pier. We were very impressed with this tour. Antigua: tons of good beaches. You can walk to the bus station and travel cheaply to one of many beautiful beaches to relax for the day. St. Maarten: renting a jeep is fun and you can go to Orient Beach, Maho Beach, and the French capital of Marigot. Phillipsburg is also a nice area to wander around. St. Croix: Never been... Have fun on your upcoming cruise!
