JRoeT Posted December 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2004 Hello, we'll be lunching in Marigot in mid-March. I love trying new things! My husband will need to have some Americanized options. Any ideas / recommendations for restaurants that offer both opportunities? I'd love to eat on the water . . .
Snackdaddy Posted December 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2004 Greetings, Next week we plan on taking Royal Caribbean's "Marigot Yachting and Shopping" tour where will will have lunch at an unnamed restaurant overlooking the Marina in Marigot. We'll let you know. FYI, although, not terribly Americanized, the December 8, 2004, New York Times had a wonderful article entitled, "Island Delights: Pigtail Soup With the Chef." The article featured Rosemary's in Marigot. We may stop by for a salt fish sandwich and an ice-cold Heineken. Her jerk chicken and ribs, snapper, fried fish and braised goat all sound wonderful as well. Since we live in a West Indian neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY, we'll feel right at home in America.:p
