Look at the sticky at the top of the page. It gives you tips on how to bid plus posts of what people got. I used priceline for the first time and got the Intercontinental for $93 plus taxes. I stayed there last year for $300.

My first time too and was a little nervous. Also got the intercontinental for $90 (April '10). Can't beat the deal and it was so easy!!! Just put in the area (I put in OSJ) then the star rating. I went for the top...I think 4 stars. You can't go wrong.
