Montreal/New York/Boston - Eastern Seaboard

Hello - can anyone give me any ideas as to what type of weather to expect in October? We are flying out to Montreal and cruising the St Lawrence down to New York and on to Nova Scotia before flying back to the UK. Many thanks in advance.

I did that journey late Sept. last year,the weather was fine ,the St.Lawrence was just starting winter frosts ,Ouebec was lovely ,light jackets needed and its America in the fall,with all the trees changeing colour.

 

As long as the weather holds its great.:)
