GuitarPlayer Posted August 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2009 I did search a bit and didn't really find anything here...so.... We are booked in the Holiday Inn - PoM for one night. We got the "Advance Purchase" rate. We now see the price has gone down on that same rate by $8 (ok, it's only by $8, but hey, $8 is $8!). Is this worth chasing? I.E. What options would I have? Price adjustment? Credit on the account to use in the restaurant? Am I being petty? (I've been accused of that plenty of times before). Any other random thoughts? bills blasters Posted August 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2009 I would just call them and tell them you found a cheaper rate and ask if they can change to the new price. It wont hurt to ask.
canuck eh? Posted August 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Just call the hotel and they should give you the lower rate. I always get it with my hotel.
megr1125 Posted August 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Since it was an advance purchase rate, the hotel may not change it, but you may as well give it a shot...
eandj Posted August 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Call the hotel direct. If they won't credit your card, ask for a breakfast voucher.
