navybankerteacher Posted August 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I am taking a cruise from New York down to the Caribbean in December. From which day should the weather start getting warm? Mid -afternoon of your first sea day will be noticeably warmer, as the Atlantic only cools slowly. By morning of the second day you will be in 70 degree Gulf Stream water- unless there is a strong wind from the North, you will feel that in the air. collegecruiser346 Posted August 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2009 I second that. Once you get off the coast of the Carolinas you'll have warm weather. I know people that did that cruise last December and had a Balcony cabin. They said that due to the wind and the cold weather they couldn't use their balcony until the 2nd day of the cruise.
