sharecruises Posted August 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Hi.. will be going to Mr Sanchos from Destiny on Sept 5 we dock at 1:30...so the all inclusive will not be worth it I think we want to order drinks/food a la carte do they still have the "buffet" option? that might be good if they do some in our party will want to horseback ride, or atv or massage.. I liked Sanchos cause there are many options any new reports on the beach club? do's...don'ts?? also ...what time does it close...their time/ship time etc I am trying to figure how long we will actually have there any ideas on Sancho's are much appreciated thanks
Melismass Posted August 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2009 We are also on the Destiny, September 17th though. Isn't it awful trying to make plans for a day that doesn't even start till 1:00pm? (actually 2:00pm once you get off the ship, and get a cab etc.) My understanding is that all of the beach clubs close at around 5:00pm. Wouldn't you think they would stay open later on days when there is ship there late? We are planning to stop by Mr. Sanchos too. I was considering going parasailing from there, also we have never been there and wanted to check it out. After we leave there, we are going to a place called Albertos. It supposed to have fantastic seafood. I am told this is the only beach club open at night. Keep in mind the time difference in Coz. When your ship docks it will actually be only 12:00 Cozumel time, so this gives us an extra hour of beach time. ( I just recently learned this and it made me very happy)
sharecruises Posted August 8, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Thanks for that info the extra hour will be cool Yes, I agree this is hard to plan with the port time we are allotted I do plan to go back to the ship for (late seating) dinner tho, Has anyone been at Sancho's lately ?? do they still have the buffet? or? Name Of The Game Posted August 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2009 From the looks of their website they appear to only sell food off the menu. I don't see a buffet mentioned.

Cruiserbound Posted August 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Does this mean that you continually order food off the menu for the AI??
Perfect Stranger Posted August 13, 2009 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Yeah, basically to get your money's worth on these AI's you have to stuff yourself with more food & drinks than you'd normally consume if you were paying for it. If you don't eat/drink yourself sick it's not a good deal. :p:D
rushedmom Posted August 13, 2009 #8 Share Posted August 13, 2009 We were at Mr. Sancho's in July. They had a menu to order from and the food was really good. You could order more than once if you wanted to do so. I would think going that late in the day you might just want to order off the menu and not do the AI (the cover is $50) a person. The closing time is 5:00 p.m. The price for parasailing is very reasonable.
MACE Posted August 13, 2009 #9 Share Posted August 13, 2009 If you just wanted to go in, use the beach, get some drinks and order food off of the menu, I believe there would be no admission charge? Thanks,
TwirlyGirl Posted August 14, 2009 #10 Share Posted August 14, 2009 We were at Mr. Sanchos on August 8th. There is no buffet. Our waiter greated us at the gate, seated us at a great table and beach chairs. He checked on us several times during the day for drinks, food, etc., and kept a running tab for us as we did not do the AI. I recommend the chicken nachos.....UMMMMMMMMMM!!!! This was a GREAT beach. We chose this beach b/c of the pool; however, we never got in the pool...too much fun in the sand and the water was great!!! I'm ready to go back. Have a great time!!!!
