barbados Posted August 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2009 I would suggest to dive in Tortola. There isn't too much else to do there and the diving is good to very good. Black forest, The Indians or the RMS Rhone are good, shallow dives, most enjoy them. I'm not supposed to suggest who we have used, but you'll find good operators out of Roadtown. Have a great time! :)

barbados Posted August 9, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2009 I don't really use any of the dive houses on the island anymore. We get our tanks filled and we all have boats. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to recommend specific tour operators, however I can tell you that if you pull up barbados.org, and select dive operators, you'll find 4-5. http://www.barbados.org/diveops.htm They are all good! bad operators don't last more than two seasons here. Oops, I see that they missed one on their website. The Dive Shop. If you're a biginner, do the wreck of the Berwin or The Bajan Queen. Our big draw for advanced divers is the wreck of the SS Stavronikita, but your husband probably already knows about that, yes? Enjoy! :)
w&k Posted August 9, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2009 We have been several times with John Moore, from a small operation called Dive Barbados. If you like to dive from small boats with fun people, John is the one you want to go with. http://www.divebarbados.net Tell him that we sent you, and he'll let you come dive with him anyway. :D Have a great time and tell him Wendy and Keith from Florida say Hi!
