Royal Palms - Grand Cayman

We went to this beach in December 2007 on the Victory. We liked it. Nice beach with tons of lounge chairs (there is a fee for the chairs--can't remember how much). The water was beautiful, but it did slope off a bit. In just a few steps, you were chest deep. Not really a problem unless you have small children--they won't be able to stand up in the water. There was a great little outdoor bar and cafe. The bartender was quite heavy-handed! Our waiter was a personable, surfer-dude type all the way from South Africa. The restrooms weren't fancy, but they were clean.

Hi,

We spent the day there in March 08. We had a great time and I would highly recommend it! Much better than hitting the public beach or Sea Grape.

Have fun!

Vanessa

Hi. Just wondering what made it better than Sea Grape. What are the differences between the two? Thanks!
