Identifying luggage

Ours is the hard sided luggage that's supposed to last at least 10 years, but after 2 flights & 2 cruises, it already looks beat up. LOL But anyway, I took the sponge cutout shapes & dipped them in the craft paint & applied to the front & back. Even painted the handles where they'd look different. With mine being hardside, I will have to touch it up this year, but I can find it with no problem. Hubby's has all the ports that we've been too on his. More manly than palm trees & flip flops! LOL:rolleyes: Plus we have brightly colored luggage tags with a pic of the ship, date, etc. that he designed, printed out on paper & I laminated, along with Carnival's tags.

our daughters used fabric paint and drew designs on all 4 sides. Mine has palm trees, margaritas and flip flops :)

Do you have a picture of this painting? I am no artist and would like some ideas. I promise to not use your idea.

I don't remember if this has been mentioned but be sure to mark EVERY side of your luggage. You have no idea which way your luggage will come off the carousel at the airport (if you are flying).

My nephew uses duct tape (what would we do without it?) to put his initials all around his suticase.

I have also printed out photos of my initials with Mickey Mouse alongside. Then I fix these to my fabric suitcase with clear tape. I look for tape that is extra sticky. These pictures make my suitcase very distinctive. They have stayed on for some time also.
