Thomson Celebration Dining

Recommended Posts

Hi

We are off on the Celebration this coming Friday - were on it 3 years ago, is the dining still freestyle i.e. you can go down to meridian's whenever - no set time, and do you have to stay at the same table for the fortnight or are you sat where there is space etc.

thanks

hi Lynne,

It's still open dinning so you can eat when and where you like. We prefer to eat early so have never had a problem getting the waiters to keep the same table for 4 for us each night. However, if you do not wish to do this you can just request a new table each night or join one of the large shared tables if you wish. I have noticed that after about 7.30pm a queue usually develops with people waiting to get a table.

We prefer the lido for breakfast and lunch.

Have a great cruise :-)

John are there any formal nights - if so is it a very dressy affair, do I need to pack a tux or will a suit be ok will be eating in the Meridian for most meals,

Thanks

Mick

Just one formal night Mickoc, you can wear a Tux or a suit, it's usually a 50/ 50 split, you will even see the odd person just with shirt and tie. The rest of the nights it's just trousers and short sleave shirt. If you don't fancy goingto the formal night, the lido allows whatever you wish to wear.

It's all very relaxed and not stuffy at all.
