dreaminofmeadows Posted August 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2009 I have 2 questions. 1. I have severe shell fish allergy and am wondering if anyone has had trouble with cross contamination when eating in port? 2. Any trouble with "montezumas revenge"? Should we stick to iceless drinks? Thanks!
tandemcruzr Posted August 8, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2009 Can't answer the cross-contamination question. Re MR, we've been on cruise and land vacations to Coz and have never experienced it. All water is purified. Ice is made from the purified water. The restaurants and bars depend on tourists and will not risk their reputation by serving 'dirty' water/ice. Many report that MR if experienced in Coz, is usually because you are eating food that is spicier than you are used to at home, or drinking too much or both. :D
